Kentmere and the eastern fells
Over the years I have visited Kentmere more than any other dale simply because it is the nearest dale to home and one of the quietest. One of the reasons is that although it is the first dale passed by tourists from the Manchester area, they pass it by as there are ameneties and very little parking.
