CAIRNGORM ARTIST
Very pleased to introduce Eleanor Honeyborne-Heaney a fine artist based in Grantown on Spey in the Scottish Highlands who paints old crofts and bothies like the one above at Athnamulloch in Glen Affric.
Eleanor usually visits the locations she paints but unfortunately on this occasion it had been rebuilt, my connection here is that the image below popped up on Facebook when she was researching the site. Although Eleanor's painting was maybe not inspired by my photographic take on the bothy I do hope it was a help to get some of the location and construction details correct.
