The Twin valleys of little and great langdale

Except maybe for Kentmere these two valleys are my most visited area of The Lake District, back in the early sixties nearly every weekend was spent here rock climbing. Later in the eighties and nineties with a bolt hole at Skelwith Bridge, time here was taken up with photography and hill walking with the family. During those times there cannot be any small corner that I have not explored. Now due to the pressures of tourism visits are reduced to late autumn and winter, but to me the valleys are and always will be quintessentially Lakeland
